Sales of Charging Equipment Fell by 13% in 2025

Sales of basic charging equipment for electric vehicles declined by 21% compared to the previous year, totalling 14,244 units. Sales of slow-charging devices remained stable and accounted for nearly half of all charging equipment sold.

“The availability of charging at parking locations is a key prerequisite for the wider adoption of electric vehicles across Finland,” says Sallamaari Muhonen, Managing Director of STK.

Orientations

E-numbers - and ETIM orientation

STK regularly organises free of charge e-numbers and ETIM introductions. The spring orientation sessions will be held on 24 March and 26 May at 9.30-12.00 at STK's office at Takomotie 8, Helsinki. The Introduction to e-numbers in English will take place via Teams on 7 May.

 

Our member companies will also have the opportunity to visit STK experts free of charge and attend their own introductory training.
